Description
Fresh, juicy and thirst-quenching, watermelon is one of the symbols of summer. Apparently of Sudanese origin, even if it was long believed that it came from the fertile Crescent and still its origin seems disputed, it seems that at the beginning it was not appreciated for the pulp (which was in fact sour), but for its seeds.
